Did you think the same? Like What Habits That Successful Students Don’t Have? In my personal experience, studying and being on social media at the same time are the last two ways to get around work are always a mistake. This mistake is especially prevalent among students who prefer to pay for homework and notes instead of writing and editing them themselves.

According to science, our brain has two different zones. Our first zone allows us to think and function how normal humans work, it always prompts us to respond to our external stimuli in our surroundings, it keeps us alert to save ourselves from nerve-wracking situations, but the human mind can function in a slow, thought on, logical way after taking good time to answer a serious question.

This is the kind of thinking system, slow, creative and logical, that we should strive to use as we work, whether it’s a series of math problems or the process of writing something. And, to trigger this system, the crucial factor is to detach ourselves from the distractions and minutiae that trigger our instinctive responses.

Top Bad Habits That Successful Students Don’t Have | Are You A Good Student?

Being with friends or sitting on Facebook may seem like a good way to make work less stressful and more fun, but it will get in the way of focusing and getting to the point. This means it will take you longer to solve certain problems, with the final solutions being of worse quality. You should try to do your necessary work alone rather than in a company. You will realize that within a few hours of being alone, you completed a lot of work. This will also help you to save more time for your other wanted targets.

1# Working In Your Bed

Do you? It is impossible because your bed is the most comfortable place in the world. You can relax on it without any doubt. You don’t have to dress for the same. So if you want to succeed in your life and have ambitions that you want to fulfill, I will always suggest you get out of it and work like other hard-working pals of yours. I would recommend you a library.

2# Ignore Your Problems

I used to sit in my maths and science class for weeks, in the end, and not knowing what was going on. I used to write something down in my notebook at random to make it look like I was listening while wandering around in my fantasies, in which I tried to bang my neighbor hard on the head with a graphing calculator (she raised her hand to answer every question without exception) and giggled nastily if she suddenly got it wrong.

In those dark “science” days, I didn’t realize that no matter how hard or smart you are, everyone struggles from time to time with some topic or concept. What really makes you a successful student is how you handle what’s hard for you. Instead of ignoring hard topics, focusing on what they are, and claiming sadly, about the lack of “math brains,” the best students identify the problem and deal with it at the initial stage. It is always better to clear your doubts then and there so that you make yourself the master of what you are learning.

3# Limit Your Work To The Classroom

When you were younger, listening to a class lesson, doing your homework, and occasionally doing a little preparation for a test here and there was probably enough to guarantee your brilliant grades. Some also feel that when they specialize in something, we end up making things more complicated for us. We also end up feeling that our teachers and supervisors give us abundant information and cover everything in the world in a small amount of time, expecting you to work on it yourself and excel in the exam.

Starting in the final years of school, your success will depend heavily on whether you reinforce what you’ve learned as you go along, shifting the paradigm of trusting teachers and lessons to be more independent and devoting extracurricular hours to making sure you understand everything. This sounds creepy but isn’t very difficult if you do it regularly.

Take one or more hours at the end of the week to finish a written outline and the important chapters in your textbook, sketching out some questions you want to ask, and sort out anything you don’t understand with your teacher or with the book and practice the points you find difficult. This will not only eliminate gaps in your knowledge that appear as you study, but it will also assume that by the time you get ready to repeat, you have a good, complete outline and can repeat everything effectively in one go!

4# Get Stressed Out If You Fail

Even the best students sometimes fail, get caught up, make mistakes on tests, or turn in parts of papers that fall, but just because these students tend to study well, they are often quite confident about the possibility of making occasional mistakes, taking it easy and being aware of the fact that writing one or even a whole series of essays poorly does not preclude them from writing it well the next time.

Final Words

Even if you are failing badly, the worst of this could be you quitting and becoming underconfident about your existence. Instead, at this moment, you should motivate yourself like your true friend and move ahead to face more such issues that will prepare you for the next time. It is because learning from your mistakes helps you succeed in life.
