A Theatrical sequel was also made in 1996 named ‘All Dogs Go To Heaven 2′. The story revolves around a German Shepherd, Charlie, who goes to Heaven after he is killed by a friend. Later on, he withdraws from his place in Heaven to go back to Earth, where he plans to take revenge on his murderer.

The movie draws a parallel comparison between the Easter bunny and the human, which is hilarious to watch.
