The story of Hunter x Hunter is of a boy named Gon Freecss, who wants to be like his father, the most excellent hunter of all time, and join the hunter community. The second adaption was by Madhouse production that became very popular on its release. Directed by Hiroshi Kōjina and produced by Madhouse animation, the series has 148 episodes that premiered from October 2, 2011, to September 23, 2014, on Nippon Television.
