On the latest episode of Dancing with the Stars witnessed a bittersweet moment when the most loved judge of this show, Len Goodman announced to retire after the end of this season!

The recent episode of Dancing with the Stars season 31 saw the judges Carrie and Bruno getting emotional as the fellow judge announced his retirement from the show.

Len Goodman has been an important part of the show from its premier in 2005 and has participated as a judge in all the seasons, except season 21 and 29.

The long-time judge of Dancing with the stars, revealed it last Monday that the next episode will be his last episode with the show as well. Since he is stepping down as the judge of this dance reality show , now he’ll be able to spend more time with his family and grandchildren back in the UK.

Praising the show, Goodman said it has been a huge pleasure working to be a part of this wonderful show but now he has decided to go back to Britain to spend time with his family.

Lee Goodman has been the head judge of the original British series, Strictly Come Dancing from 2004 and from 2005, started as the judge for the US version, Dancing with the stars. Therefore, till his retirement in 2016 from the British show, he was on double duty with both the shows.

Goodman has been a professional ballroom dancer and has won the British Championship as well.

Goodman has been one of the toughest judges on the show and is considered as a judge who is hard to please. But leaving the show after more than fifteen years has made not just the judges, but the participants and audience of the show emotional. It’s hard to say goodbye to someone who’s been there from the beginning.

Due to the double eviction of Trevor Donovan and Daniel Durant from the show, the atmosphere was already a little gloomy, but this announcement ended up making everyone a little more emotional.
