19 Best Series After The Game of Thrones That You Can Watch To Fill The Void

Related

Are you looking for some impactful series after the Game of Thrones that you can watch and fill the void that the GOT franchise has left in your heart?  Game of Thrones will always rank among the best TV Series ever made but it certainly could not make an over-lasting impact because of its poor storyline in the last season.

You and I, and all the other franchise lovers had anticipated the perfect ending for GOT but the makers ruined all our dreams by giving the show an end we couldn’t have even imagined in our worst nightmares. Despite the poor season(franchise) ending, the show was loved by millions of people, with the season-opening being streamed by over 17 million people.

The franchise spent several years creating a buzz around its storyline with the violence, complicated love interests(Jamie and Cersei), the politics, and a lot more. The show garnered a huge fan and critics following, won multiple awards in different categories, along with die-hard fans. With the final season landing on our television screens, we were disappointed with the new writers as the season not only had fewer episodes but also had a terrible ending.

Still, with its poor ending, the show not only broke all the records of the online fan and critics forum discussions but also managed to score the franchise’s highest rating ever. However, the sad truth that remains now is there is no “Iron Throne” to fight after and no more dragons left in the king’s landing.

While we can wait for several spin-offs and prequel series that HBO has decided to release in honor of the series, another option that we have is to indulge in the series that we were neglecting because of the Game of Thrones. These series will not have a night king or any snow walkers, and dragons, but these will keep you going with their powerful storylines, perfect endings, and bonus the violence, bloodshed, back-room meetings will keep the essence of GOT alive. Some of the shows on our list are lighthearted and fun to watch, while others will keep you reminding of the Thrones franchise.

From “Vikings” to “Outlander” and “Dark” to “Peaky Blinders”, the list contains enough shows from all sorts of genres including science fiction and ancient dramas, and some of the shows even have characters making an appearance from your favorite franchise. The similarities between the characters(nature), the storyline will give you the satisfaction of a hearty binge. Without wasting any more time, let me take you straight to the article so that you can have a look at all the series after the Game of Thrones that you can binge watch.
