Eventually, Thor flees the planet and, in a bid to defeat Hela, initiates Ragnarok himself.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
This movie presents almost all MCU characters fighting against Thanos, who is trying to collect all Infinity stones and make half of the Universe die. Even though he succeeds, we see Thor fighting like everyone as he provides his support. He also almost ends up killing Thanos with his new battle-ax called Stormbreaker.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
The movie is a continuation of the last Avengers movie, as all living MCU characters plan to travel back in time to stop Thanos. However, Thanos ends up returning to the future with his forces, and the ultimate fight against him begins.
Thor: Love And Thunder (2022)
After the incidents of Endgame, this is the first Thor movie. The movie is supposed to feature Thor as he will fight against Gorr: the God butcher. The movie is also rumored to present Jane Foster in a new role.

- Thor’s mother is called Gaea in the comics versions, who is the Earth Goddess. However, in the movie versions, his mother’s name is Frigga.
- The character Thor has also been part of a non-canon movie called Team Thor: Part 1, which showed the Asgardian God staying with a normal human being. The second part of the movie is called Team Darryl. These movies were not full-length feature films.
- Thor’s character was supposed to have a helmet, which was also part of his costume during the first movie. Due to the discomfort of the helmet, it was eventually removed from the costume. He also wore something similar to that helmet in the movie Thor: Ragnarok when he fought Hulk.
- According to the comics’ version, Thor’s character is supposed to lose his left eye two times when he becomes King of Asgard. However, in the movie version, he loses his right eye fighting against Hels. His eye was eventually replaced by a prosthesis.
