Plot Of Who Made The Potatoe Salad (2006) | Honest Efforts Of An Honest Cop!
The story of Who Made The Potatoe Salad revolves around the character of Michael played by Jaleel White, a young, honest and hard-working policeman who lives in San Diego. He travels to Los Angeles with his fiancee Ashley, played by Jennia Fredrique, to visit her dysfunctional and weird family. Now, Michael has plans to surprise her family with the news of their engagement, having no clue of how they would react.
Soon after interacting with Ashley’s father and brother, he finds out that they hate cops. They kept on making fun of him in front of everybody. In time he learns that his soon-to-be father-in-law was once an active member of the Black Panther Party and went to jail for attempted murder. Which of course he claims was an act of self-defense.
Michael finally understands why his soon-to-be father-in-law hates cops. But as he loves Ashley very much, he makes an effort to change his viewpoint that not all cops are the same.
