Kate and Teddy’s father was a firefighter and died while saving some strangers. Since then, both of them have lost interest in a number of things. 

While watching some of their old family videos, Kate and Teddy come up with a plan to capture Santa Claus, played by Kurt Rusell, on camera. When Santa finally arrives at their house, they follow him and hide in his sleigh. Santa, after noticing them, loses control and crashes the sleigh. Now, Santa must fix his ride so that he can get back on schedule.
