The opening sequence of the film, where we see the character of Paige, working on an assignment in America, was actually filmed in Vancouver. The bustling city of Vancouver, filled with tall skyscrapers was used to shoot the outdoor sequence of Paige’s former office.

But, in order to film the scenes of Coyote Creek Inn, the production unit moved to the outskirts of the city. An actual Inn located in the exterior part of the city was used to depict the Coyote Creek Inn. The production unit had to arrange special lighting and sound equipment to capture the exterior sequence of the Inn at night. Filming lasted for about a week and a half before the production moved to the next filming location.

Burnaby | British Columbia

The production unit moved to the city of Burnaby, to majorly shoot the interior sequences. The Bridge Studio, located in the downtown area of Burnaby was used to capture the remaining sequences. The production unit constructed a make-believe set to portray the interior area of Coyote Creek Inn. Some other pivotal sequences of the lower mainland region of British Columbia were shot, before the completion of the entire filming process.
