Liege-Guillemins Railway Station, Belgium 

The opening scene, where you saw a modern railway station, was shot at Liege-Guillemins railway station. It took a lot of time to conclude shooting here because of the crowd. Also, the makers were supposed to shoot without hampering the normal functioning of the station. 

After days of hard work, the makers were finally able to get some perfect shots. Interestingly, the cast members cooperate a lot while filming the movie here. 

Stock Exchange Palace, Liberty Square, And Kiscelli Museum, Budapest

The scene where you saw Henry and Marino busy conversing with each other was shot at Stock Exchange Palace, a classic location in Budapest. Guess what? It looks similar to the filming location of The Grand Budapest Hotel. 

Apart from Gemini Man, many production houses used this building to shoot some movies like Blade Runner 2049. And filming here was a bump-free ride for the makers of Gemini Man. 

Another breathtaking location used to film Gemini Man was Kiscelli Museum in Obuda. Although it’s hard to believe, the production unit spent several days transforming its look. After days of grind, the 18th-century monastery was converted into the Municipal Picture Gallery of Budapest. 

However, the interior look of the Municipal Gallery was shot in a studio. For this, a special setup was made so that all the sequences could look related. 

Origo Studios And Jaki Chapel, Budapest

The training sequence where you saw Henry preparing for his assignment was shot at Origo Studios. In order to make the studio look like a ‘Gemini Headquarters’, the production team made a separate setup. 

Today, Origo Studios is among some of the famous locations in Budapest. Until now, more than 100 movies have been shot here. Production companies prefer shooting here because the studio has spacious stages, and a separate rooms for production teams, etc. 

The scene where you saw Danny meeting an unknown person was shot at Jaki Chapel. A few sequences were also shot at a nearby palace, Vajdahunyad Castle located in City Park. 

Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, The Bronx, New York 

The sequence where you saw Clayton and Janet discussing something important was shot outside Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. Well, this location was just a few miles away from the filming location of The Undoing. 

Shooting at this location was easy in comparison to other locations. Although the makers came across the crowd, they shot most of the sequences on weekdays to wrap up filming quickly. Because they were not allowed to film inside the conservatory, the creators shot sequences accordingly. 

Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, New York

The ending scene of Gemini Man, which was full of suspense, was shot at the campus of Brooklyn College. Initially, the administration was not allowing the makers to shoot but both of them negotiated on their parts to make things work for them.

The colorful house that belonged to the culprit was located in Cartagena. It was a historic location, which was transformed into an elegant house. However, a special landmark in Cartagena was also used to lens some sequences. For street sequences, the makers chose Getsemani. 

Within Cartagena, the production team found a perfect spot, the Clock Tower Monument, to shoot some pivotal sequences. For the motorbike chase sequence, the team covered the walls and ramparts of Cartagena. 

Plot Of Gemini Man | What’s It About?

The central plot of Gemini Man revolves around Henry who works for the Defence Intelligence Agency. He is assigned the task to catch a culprit. For the same, Henry sets out and meets his friend, Danny in Buttermilk Sound, Georgia. His friend reveals that the culprit is innocent and Henry asks for proof. 

Amidst this, Henry befriends Yuri, another agent sent for his help. Soon Henry realizes that the agency wants him and Danny dead. As a result, he tries to escape but ends up learning that his target (the culprit) is a mysterious killer. That’s not it, he can even predict Henry’s move. 

The plot thickens when Henry comes to know that he is being hunted by a younger version of himself. Now, he finds out why the culprit is targeting him and comes across a shocking fact.
