Grant works as the Mountain Lodge Activities Director at the Windmere Mountain Lodge. Yes, a place like that doesn’t actually exist—it’s fictional. But, Windmeree is a real place located in British Columbia, Canada. 

Located to the south of Invermere, Windermere is a small community in the Regional District of East Kootenay. That’s why it served as a perfect winter movie, I mean, all the snow in Windermere REALLY goes well with the movie title. You can actually see the actors’ frosted breath as they speak! Also, am I the only one who thinks that just because the movie is set in winter–it plays a part in bringing people together? I mean, you get closer to get warm? 

Since Grant works as the activities director, we get to see some cool things outdoors like skiing and roasted marshmallows. 

Panorama Mountain Resort

Panorama Mountain Resort is located in an alpine village, far down in Canada’s oldest mountains. Needless to say that the place provides a considerable amount of adventures and opportunities for Bethany and Grant for making new memories.

In a particular scene, we get to see Grant taking out Bethany on a romantic hike in starlight (hikes at night always hit differently). Towards the end of the hike, the two of them would have kissed if that rude interruption hadn’t occurred.
