The man has his eyes on the father’s throne and wants nothing more than to rule the kingdom with an iron fist. But, the princess won’t let it happen. She is trained in combat and will fight any number of men to save her family and kingdom.

It’s easy to see why the filmmakers chose Bulgaria. This place has a lot of well-preserved historical monuments and castles like Baba Vida castle that served as filming locations perfectly. It is believed that the Baba Vida castle, located in northwestern Bulgaria, was used for filming the interior scenes of The Princess.
