The final shooting locations were selected in that meeting, after which the principal photography began. The filming commenced during the second week of September last year and continued for a month.

The production members arranged a commercial building in the downtown Los Angeles area. The same building was used to film all outdoor sequences of Ellis’ office for the entire pilot season of Unstable.
In order to capture the sequences depicting Ellis’ home, however, the production members traveled to the outskirts of Los Angeles. A big-sized home with a plush look was selected by the team to capture the sequences of Ellis’ not-so-humble abode.
Additional outdoor sequences of the show were captured in various posh areas of Los Angeles. In fact, the production members also traveled to a famous beach and captured several outdoor shots depicting the beach-day-out episode of Unstable.
The interior sequences of the show were all filmed inside a famous studio in Culver City. By the end of September, the production members wrapped the entire shooting process of Unstable.
