One day during a quarrel between the two groups, a rouge criminal known as the Outlaws appears out of nowhere. Jack Bruhn is a robber who is involved in many robberies. Starrett and Bruhn have a history, and it soon becomes clear that the outlaws have come to Bitters to seek revenge against Blaise. 

The situation in Bitters becomes increasingly desperate, the villagers and Starrett’s gang put aside their differences and work together to defend their town from the Outlaws. In the end, they manage to drive off the outlaws and restore peace in Bitters. The experience of this bloody showdown changes their mind as they understand that they need to work together if they want to survive these harsh conditions.
