Sarah’s house in the show was actually a set, built from the scratch by forty crew members over the period of a couple of weeks. The house was located at the foot of a massive hill known as House Roof Hill, which you can see in the background in a number of scenes. A number of interior scenes were filmed at Disney Studios Australia at Building 16 at 38 Driver Avenue, Moore Park. The studio has nine sound stages, several production offices, construction workshops, dressing rooms, and many more.

To settle an important matter and confront her husband, she travels all the way to Australia. When her husband all of sudden dies, Sarah inherits his million-acre cattle ranch. 

Soon, a cruel and merciless Australian cattle baron, King Carney, played by Bryan Brown, finds out about Sarah’s husband’s death. King Carney hatches a plan to take over her vast cattle ranch, which is called Faraway Downs. Not having much of a choice, Sarah reluctantly joins hands with rancher Drover, played by Hugh Jackman, who promises to take care of her property.
