The part before the climax in Jumanji 2 was filmed in Calgary which is situated in Alberta, Canada. Most of the parts were shot in the regions of The Fortress Mountain resort which is located in Kananaskis. 

The place provides beautiful scenery filled with snow and mighty mountains in the background. A lot of scenes from the movie were also filmed on Mount James Walker, which is also situated in the Kananaskis Valley. 

Shiprock, New Mexico
