Within California, the production team and cast of The Old Man were spotted in Los Angeles. That’s because some crucial scenes were filmed there. And the filming in Los Angeles started in early 2020.

The principal photography of The Old Man began in November 2019 and went till March 2020. Unfortunately, the makers had to halt the filming because of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. When the filming was halted, only three episodes were left to shoot.
Later, the shooting commenced in March 2020 and stopped again in the same year. This happened because Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with lymphoma in October. And the production team decided to wait until he gets well. Finally, the shooting commenced once again in February 2022 and was wrapped up by the middle of March 2022.
