The majority of the superhero action comedy film was shot in the city of Atlanta. Principal photography commenced on 20 September 2019 and was wrapped up by 28 February 2020. Filming took place at the Pinewood Atlanta Studios, which is presently known as Trilith Studios. It is situated at 461 Sandy Creek Road.

As you may have noticed, most of the movie’s events take place on a beach. James Gunn decided to shoot those scenes inside the studio. The art department had to build a massive 250-foot by 250-foot beach set for shooting a number of scenes.

They’re on a search-and-destroy mission guided by Colonel Rick Flag on the ground. Their one wrong move can get everyone killed.
