Where Was Employee Of The Month Filmed? Know These Locations Closely!

The makers were in a dilemma while deciding the locations of Employee Of The Month. They were tight on budget but did not want to compromise on the locations. After extensive research and considering all the expenses, they decided to shoot in New Mexico. Luckily, they found some stunning locations that were complimenting the plot. The makers did not reveal the location where they shot the sequences of Vincy’s house. So, we don’t know whether it was a set specially made for the movie or a real house.

Coming back to the point, here’s all that we know about where was Employee Of The Month filmed!

Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

The majority of sequences were shot at various commercial and residential areas in Albuquerque. The entire team had a great time filming the movie in Albuquerque. According to locals, the cast members were spotted at famous restaurants and markets during weekends.

The makers were supposed to wrap up shooting within two weeks. But the shooting lasted for two months because of rehearsal and training sessions of the cast members. So, this was a sudden change in the schedule and everyone was fine with it.

If you have never been to Albuquerque, I would like to share that the town is full of many historical buildings which also featured in Those Who Wish Me Dead. Apart from this, you can have a tour of The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center where you can learn about the history of tribals.

Costco Store, 1420 N Renaissance Blvd, New York

The store where all the humorous events take place was shot at Costco Store. Another store named Sam’s Club was also used to shoot some sequences. The two stores named Super Club and Maxi Mart were rivals in reality. So, the makers took inspiration from them to showcase the rivalry between Zack and Vincey.

Costco Store was closed for some days for its customers so that shooting could take place easily. The interior of the store was perfect so the team did not make any changes.

Santa Fe, New Mexico

Some outdoor and indoor sequences were shot in Santa Fe. The makers considered traveling to this location because of tax incentives. Also, they were assisted by the police to shoot in public places so this was another advantage. The police helped them in managing the crowd and traffic.

Even the locals were very thoughtful and cooperated a lot with the production team. This helped the makers in concluding the shooting on time. After wrapping it up, the makers gave a token of thanks to the government and the people of Santa Fe. Also, they assured me that their next project was also going to be filmed there.

If you happen to be in New Mexico someday, don’t forget to visit Santa Fe. There are multiple locations to explore. The city is known for its Pueblo-style architecture and landmarks like the Palace of the Governors. So, visit this historic place soon!
