Who doesn’t love watching dystopian sci-fi movies and shows that are set in a faraway future? These shows provide us with a temporary escape from our boring reality and introduce us to new and interesting possibilities. One such show is See (2019). While the events depicted in this dystopian TV series may not be possible in real life, you can still visit its filming location. But, for that to happen, you need to know where was See filmed.

So, See was mainly filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada. The entire filming of season 1 took place here. This wonderful filming haven provided them with plenty of forests, frozen tundras, spectacular rivers, basically all elements that a movie or show would need to depict a post-apocalyptic universe. However, the production unit mostly had to alter the natural settings to make them fit for filming.

While season 1 of the show was entirely filmed in Vancouver, the shooting of season 2 took place in Ontario. The reason for this change in locations hasn’t been explained by the production unit. But, don’t you want to know more about these breathtaking filming locations of See that gave half the charm to the dystopian show?! Well, if yes, then you need to keep scrolling because I’ll be sharing everything about these locations and more!

The Plot Of See | What Is See About?

Around 600 years from now in the future, a lethal virus has plagued the world. The virus has killed more than half the humanity. The people who managed to escape didn’t do so unharmed–they had lost their vision. For several generations, people managed to live without their sense of sight.

They had adapted well to their new circumstances. They knew how to cook, hunt, and survive without vision. All they used was their creativity, wisdom, and other senses. Although the rich still lived in fortresses, many, like Baba Voss, the Alkenny tribe’s chieftain, lived on land.

Later in the series, we see Baba Voss becoming a father to twins who are born with vision. This unexplained miracle comes with challenges of its own. There are people in the post-apocalyptic world who would go to any lengths to take away the chief’s twins from him and exploit them for their gains.

That’s why Baba will have to do everything he can to protect his children from the dangers that come with their ability to see things.

Before we proceed any further, here are some more details about the show:
