Ships In The Night is the third addition to A Martha’s Vineyard Mystery that you can find on Hallmark Channel. Hallmark is mostly known for its Christmas movies like The Sister Swap or romance movies like As Luck Would Have It and Just One Kiss. However, the channel has recently started to dabble in the murder mystery genre. We can say that Hallmark Channel is truly going out of its way to make sure that it has something to offer to everyone!

Also, we know that most of the Hallmark movies are filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is because this part of Canada is a filming haven for production units. British Columbia offers tax concessions, an ample supply of skilled crew, and all the latest production technology. The Plot Of Ships In The Night | What Is Ships In The Night About?

Ships In The Night revolves around a retired detective, Jeff, and Dr. Zee Madieras. At a fundraising art exhibition, the pair comes across the death of two community members. One of them was Eli, Zee’s mentor. He was pushed out of the window. The suspect was someone who was messing around with a portable dialysis machine that he had made.

The second person to be found murdered was Bernie, manager of the Winchester Art Gallery. In fact, she was found in the gallery itself–despite it being locked and secured with alarms. A connection between these two murders couldn’t be made.

Bernie’s death could be said to have happened out of personal vendetta–she had a lot of enemies. But, it also could have been a result of a robbery gone wrong with Bernie being present at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Jeff tries to solve these murders with Zee and his former colleague, Andy Lau. During the same, he also ends up unraveling the mysteries of his own past.
