As I’ve already mentioned, The Flash is inspired by one of the popular DC comic characters, which was originally introduced several years ago.

In fact, a rousing superhero film featuring the character of Flash has been in the making since the ‘80s. But due to a number of creative differences, many directors left this project midway through. Finally, in the summer of 2019, Andy and his team joined this project and began working on pre-production in January 2020.

Due to the onset of Covid-19, the shooting of The Flash was delayed. But, as the filming locations were scouted during the early stages of production, the filming crew was able to shoot as soon as the travel bans were lifted.

Filming locations of The Flash included various beautiful outdoor sites in England. The majority of the exterior shots were captured in and around the city of London. On the other hand, some minor sequences of the movie were also shot near the highland region of Scotland.

After the British government lifted the travel restrictions, the makers could commence with the principal photography of The Flash. Shooting started in April 2021 and continued till the second week of October of the same year.

The shooting process went on smoothly for the most part, as the production members were well prepared. The high-flying action scenes of this movie were rendered with the help of CGI and VFX.
