Kathleen, while exploring the big mansion, comes across Casper, a young, friendly ghost who lives in Whipstaff Manor with his troublemaking uncles. Eventually, both of them become friends. Instead of exorcizing the spirits, Dr. Harvey tries to contact the ghost of his dead wife, Amelia. Eventually, Casper falls in love with Kathleen, but his uncles and Carrigan make everything complicated.
