Her life completely changes when her mother goes on a trip to India, leaving Vicenza all by herself. She takes this moment to look for her father with only a photograph from a carnival to guide her. She goes to Santa Teresa hoping to strike gold.

And strike she does. There she finds her father exactly as he looks in the picture, albeit a few years older. His name is Paco and he is not as happy to see his daughter, as Vicenza had hoped. With another twist in the story pending, Vicenza finds another picture of her mother from the carnival with another man. 

Knowing the chances are he might be her real father too, she seeks him out too. While Paco is an artistic hippie, Giovanne is a finance guy with his life sorted. He is much more welcoming of her than Paco was. With two fathers now in the picture, Vicenza looks like she has more than what she asked for.
