So, instead of choosing to capture the outdoor scenes of Odds Against Tomorrow in and around this iconic city, they thought it would be best to check out other filming locations too. As soon as the main production members arrived at this mutual decision, they asked the filming crew to scout in the state of New York and Pennsylvania.
After 3 weeks or so, the production members came up with a list of potential filming locations in New York and Pennsylvania. Robert wasn’t convinced with the overall look of the locations in Pennsylvania, so he decided to capture all scenes of Odds Against Tomorrow in and around the state of New York.
The principal photography of Odds Against Tomorrow commenced in the final week of February 1959 and continued till the end of April of the same year. The majority of the outdoor scenes of this crime thriller movie were filmed in and around the city of New York.
As a matter of fact, the interior scenes of Odds Against Tomorrow were also captured inside a famous studio located in the downtown area of New York City. The production members didn’t face any problems while acquiring the shooting permits.
