So, it was evident that the makers were in love with this place!

The principal photography of Poker Face commenced in July 2021. Unfortunately, the production unit had to stop the shooting in between due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The stunning opening sequences were shot at Kiama. The luxurious life of Jake you saw in the movie was shot at this location. Fortunately, the makers got a lot of help from the locals because they were highly thoughtful. So, filming here proved to be their right decision.

Known as a coastal town in New South Wales, Kiama is a perfect place if you are planning to relocate. Let me tell you that it’s not densely populated and is home to only 22,000 inhabitants. Apart from this, you can visit Cathedral Rocks and enjoy various water sports.

Disney Studios, Moore Park

To shoot some fascinating sequences, the makers decided to prepare a setup at Disney Studios. It took a few weeks for the production unit to get the setup ready and they managed to wrap up shooting on time. Surprisingly, the stage prepared by the team was similar to a real-life location. The shooting also took place at Building 16 on 38 Driver Avenue, Sydney’s Moore Park Suburb

Also known as Fox Studios Australia, Disney Studios is equipped with multiple facilities for production houses. Up until now, many Marvel movies have been shot here. Sadly, you can’t visit this studio because it is not open to the public.

Crown Sydney, Barangaroo

The poker night hosted by Jake was shot on the premise of Crown Sydney. The makers were not allowed to shoot at any random location in the hotel. They were allotted a separate room to shoot the sequences of Poker Night. Also, they were instructed to shoot in a way that it doesn’t affect the normal functioning of the hotel.

Apart from this, a private residence was also used to shoot some pivotal sequences. The residence was situated in the Waverton Suburb. One of the car chasing scenes was also taped near this location at Sydney Harbour Tunnel

If you are planning to visit Sydney, then Crown Sydney is the perfect accommodation for you. It offers all the basic and luxurious amenities. Well, staying here might cost you a bit. So, plan your trip accordingly.

Sydney, New South Wales

For the outdoor sequences, the makers selected Sydney. That’s because they were searching for stunning backdrops and Sydney was perfect according to them. You’ll be stunned to know that the production unit got assistance from the government authorities while shooting at public places.

One of the largest cities in Australia, Sydney is known for its Harbourfront opera house and Circular Quay Port. Apart from this, there are multiple tourist attractions like Royal Botanic Garden, that are famous filming locations as well.
