The Huntsman is a story of two sisters and their rivalry. Freya (Emily Blunt) is betrayed by her evil sister Ravenna (Charlize Theron). She transforms into a witch with Icy powers (which she had no idea about) and a frozen heart. Freya abandons the kingdom and goes far away to the North to build her kingdom and a large army of huntsmen. Freya opposes the love between the two huntsmen but soon realizes that her top soldiers Eric ( Chris Hemsworth) and Sara ( Jessica Chastain), are in love with each other and are trying to run away.
We then see Sara being killed by fellow huntsmen, and the movie fast forwards seven years later after the events of Snow White and The Huntsman. With Ravenna being killed or trapped, Eric now tries to recover the powerful magic mirror and destroy its powers along with Freya’s evil powers.
