While Laurie is admitted to the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital for emergency surgery, Myers goes on to kill Laurie’s neighbors. Tommy, Lindsey, and some other residents are shocked by this new murder spree.

In desperation, they collect and form a mob of angry Haddonfield residents who want to put an end to Myers. This doesn’t bother him, as he goes to his old home and kills everyone who lives there. With Laurie in sight and Myers able to get into the killing distance of her, Myers finds some of his old acquaintances from the mental institution that plan to stop him as well! Halloween Kills was released at the Venice International Film Festival, after which it received a nationwide release. While the movie was first set to release by Halloween 2020, it was delayed by a year due to the covid induced lockdowns. Contrary to popular belief, the real-life Haddonfield in New Jersey is not used for the filming of any Halloween movie. The filming for Halloween Kills took place in Wilmington, just like many of the previous movies in the series. So we all have come to be familiar with Wilmington as Haddonfield.

If you want to visit the locations where Myers commits his murders, then New Jersey really wouldn’t be the right place. This nice and calm city up in New Hanover County is your place to be, so plan your visits accordingly.

One of the most important locations in the movie is the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital. Michael Myers is being treated in their psychiatric wing, and it is here where he starts to wreak havoc. He kills the fireman while trying to escape and also kills others when he meets them while looking for Laurie.

Some say the reason why Myers has gone berzerk is because of his mistreatment in the mental hospital. Also, the place is significant because Laurie undergoes surgery and is taken to the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital. The actual location is North Front Street, within the campus of Cape Fear Community College.
