Porter’s Coffee and Tea House proved to be the perfect location for the movie. Set designers had to do some modifications to make the tea house look more like a diner. People who visit the tea house in Langley will still be able to see a lot of memorabilia from the shoot of the movie.

As Jessica tries to maintain her relationship with her 8-year-old son, it is constantly becoming a struggle. Her son seems to slip right out of her hands, and most of these interactions seem to happen around his school.

Though we don’t know the name of the fictional school Wesley goes to, we do know the actual location where it was filmed. Walnut Grove Secondary School was used as the location for filming the movie.

This location is also a bit more significant as Welsey and Chase start to bond over baseball in this location. The two start off with playing catch and eventually move on to coaching. The outdoor shots of the diner and the interior shots have been filmed at separate locations. While the tea house had been transformed for the interiors, Station House Pub & Grill was used for the exteriors. 

The pub is quite famous in Abbotsford. And since it also happened to be around located in Langley, it provided the crew with something new to work with. The outdoor shots for The Perfect Catch include all the interactions between Jessica and Chase. When we see people flocking to the diner, that is where that scene has been shot too!
