The makers of Vengeance decided to shoot the film on location. So after handling the initial setback, Novak invested much of his time writing the script. After the completion of it, he decided to scout the filming locations in and around the state of New Mexico, in person.
The director then arranged a meeting with other creative heads of the unit and discussed his plans. The majority of the members agreed to move forward with Novak’s decision, and shoot the entire film in New Mexico.
The principal photography was initially scheduled to begin in the first week of January last year. However, as the production members couldn’t successfully arrange the required shooting permission, the schedule got delayed for several weeks.
Then, finally shooting commenced in the last week of February last year and continued till the end of March. The production members didn’t face any major issues during the course of filming.

The opening sequence of the movie, where we see the character of Ben driving along with his partner to the south, was actually filmed on the outskirts of Albuquerque. The production members brought in a special jeep from California, to shoot the car-chase sequence of the movie.
Another medium-sized house also located on the outskirts of the city, was used to capture the sequences where Ben and his partner appear to take rest after a long drive. The production took special permission from the owners before shooting the interior sequences of the house. Reportedly, no major changes were made to the overall appearance of the property.
Other pivotal sequences in Albuquerque, were filmed inside an eatery. The important scenes of the diner shown in the movie were captured inside the famous Cafe 66, located at 9200 Central Ave SW. Interestingly enough, the ending sequence of the movie was also filmed inside the same property.
Filming in Mexico lasted till the end of March 2022, after which the production members returned to California, and began working on the promotion of the film.
