- Next, tap on the “Account ownership and control” option.
- Here, you will find the Deactivation or deletion option. Tap on it and then choose the account you want to delete.
- After selecting an account, tap on “Delete”.
- Then select “Continue” to proceed.
And, that’s it. Instagram will now receive a request to delete your account. 30 days from the time you receive your account deletion request, your account and all information related to it, will be permanently deleted. However, if you happen to have a change of plans in this time, you can log back into your account, thereby stopping the deletion request.
