Thus after the creative heads made a note of the possibilities and understood the limitations, the production members were asked to search for ideal filming locations near the Lancashire and Yorkshire border.

By the third week of October 2021, potential filming locations of Ridley were selected. The creative heads arrived at the locations and checked in person. After a month or so, the production members commenced principal photography.

The entire shooting process lasted till the month of April 2022. During the shooting process, the production captured some pivotal outdoor scenes near Yorkshire Dales and Pennine Moors. However, the majority of the exterior scenes were shot in Lancashire.

The production members used a medium-sized house located near Lancashire/Yorkshire to capture the interior scenes of the lead actor’s home. In fact, the majority of the outdoor shots were captured in and around Todmorden Moor.

After all these sequences were shot, the production members moved to the next filming location.

The remaining outdoor scenes of this show were captured in and around Yorkshire Dales National Park. This famous park is located in the northern part of England. Whereas the sequences from the final episode of this show were captured near Pennine Moors, England.

By the first week of April 2022, the production members finished filming all the outdoor scenes and then moved to Hertfordshire. The remaining interior sequences were shot inside a famous film studio in Iver Heath.
